| On Saturday 2nd July 2005, the National Teams Judo Championships took place at Sutton Leisure Centre, St Helens. Six members of Wirral Judo Club had been chosen to compete for the North West junior girls, senior woman and junior boys teams. This was a big achievement as there were only 11 places available for the boys team, 11 for the girls team and 7 for the woman's team. Everyone fought well, but unfortunately the only North West team to receive a medal was the men's who got silver. |
