| Ten members of Wirral
Judo Club competed in the North of England ge Band Championships, which took place in Bradford at the weekend. Most people fought well, especially Peter who won a silver medal.
Jamie was unlucky in his group, as there was a three way draw within his pool, resulting in a re-fight. Unfortunatley a dodgy descision by the referee took him out of the
competition. Eve was also unlucky to have an 'inexperienced' referee and time keeper against her, meaning she only got the bronze medal despite fighting well.
Charlotte and Matt also fought well and they both managed to win a bronze medal.
