All our players fought well against a high standard of opposition.

Charlotte and Laura produced some very good judo and both won bronze medals.

Duncan appeared to have finished his contests but was then recalled to the arena after one of the players in his group was disqualified. Seizing this opportunity he fought on with great spirit eventually winning the silver medal.

Jade scored a thumping Ippon with a ko-soto-gari counter, proving that her recent crash mat work has paid off. And after having to re-fight, due to her pool ending all square, was rewarded with a well earned bronze medal.

Vikki and Eve both won silver medals in their weight categories.

Matt won bronze in the U55kg and then entered the U60kg where he gained a further bronze medal.
